By walking through the garden one is invited to experience the Wisdom of God as the reality that connects every reality; as the center around which the galaxy of all experiences rotate and are kept together.

It recognizes in each person's spiritual seeking a universal call to unity and fraternity manifested in the divine plan to "bring into one the whole in the Christ, both the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth." (Eph. 1:10)

This is manifested through these main features: the cross forming a central plaza, and paths to stations that radiate outward like the rays of a monstrance. The journeys are all connected, representing the mystery of each one's spiritual wandering in relation to others.

The nearly half-acre area to the rear of the Center is being planned as a multipurpose meditative garden and food forest. For neighbors and guests the Garden of the Cosmic Christ is intended as a tranquil oasis for refuge, with works of local artisans stationed throughout to enjoy. As a productive space we have incorporated a “food forest” to support the parish’s food pantry and envision the development of plots where groups or individuals could grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

The design and planning phase for the garden began in 2018 and wrapped up in the fall of 2019. The COVID19 emergency has slowed our plans for the realization of the garden itself. Two partial projects are going to be announced soon.

If you are interested in contributing to the realization of this dream, you may “adopt” a tree for the new garden and dedicate it, if you wish, to your loved ones. Let us know if you are able to contribute by writing to
